A happy and trustworthy marriage cannot be bought on Amazon.  It is priceless.  Jeff Bezos who is the founder of Amazon and the wealthiest man in the world is worth 137 billion dollars at 54 years old.  On January 9^th, 2019 it was reported in the news that he and his wife, Mackenzie, are getting a divorce because of his affair.  He and his wife have been married for 25 years and have four children.

Though Jeff is saying the divorce is very amicable and a mutual agreement, with hopes of continuing to share life as great friends instead of spouses.  Anyone who knows about divorces understands there is more to what is not said.  Divorce crushes families and tears up lives.  The damage extends to family members and friends.  Adultery causes pain in very unique and lasting ways.

No matter how high a position a person holds or how rich he or she is, divorce still brings the same devastating results.  Money cannot take away the pain, guilt and broken hearts.  Though Jeff may not be feeling much pain now, I am confident that Mackenzie and the children are probably absolutely brokenhearted.  And God’s heart is broken.  Marriages are designed and loved by Him.

Our world has disregard for marriages and so do adultery partners.
